Strange, but I stuck at the loading screen for 10 minutes already
Very cute art - I loved the turtles and the otherworldly background with moving clouds. Not much to the game. I think slightly faster turtles or a shorter course would make it more fun to play. I did not hear any sound - I'm not sure where the music came in.
I understand what you were going for making a 2 player qwop game here, but I'm not sure it truly combines two genres.
I would have liked to see the controls for moving the turtles added to the game itself. The design of the turtles is very nice, but I wonder if you could have added a sign on their shell for the key to press to make them move.
The music is a nice touch, and adds to the atmosphere of the game.
I like how the game reinforces the story of the tortoise and the hair, but the starting line confused me at first. There is no rabbit, but instead two turtles racing. The starting line looks like finish line so I thought maybe I just needed to cross the line completely with my body to win. You should reconsider changing the line to be solid white instead of checkered.
The only other polish that would be nice to see in the game is a credits screen. The game is very solid for a ludum dare entry, and you should include it in your portfolio of games. I encourage you to add a title screen with you name or studio so that you can get credit for your hard work.
