This is neat! And for a game made in five hours, this is pretty cool!

The shooter-puzzle really works well with this kind of two characters puzzle.

I do have one complaint: On my keyboard, the delete key is really far from both other sets of controls, meaning that I basically have to run with the blue square before focusing both by hands on the shooter so that I don't die.

Of course, it's something of a pain to have customisable key controls in a Jam (I certainly don't!) so that's mostly a nitpick.

Great game, but I did not have a sound. Also, it would not hurt to have the opportunity to change controls

Hello @TheMonsterFromTheDeep and @Alex13, I thought about implementing a way to change controlls (I have some old scripts for that). But as stated above: I only had 5 hours. That would have taken some time. Still I am sorry for that.

Hi @christian-koch, for a game made in 5 hours it very good ^^ I am not sure I can do the same !

For me the controls wasn't a problem since I used my controller so good idea to do the mapping ! I really loved it, but the last level was seriously too hard, almost impossible for me to do the fps part and the puzzle part together. I had to wait for a simpler part of the fps area to continue trough the puzzle part (but has to calm down fps part you have to continue the puzzle part, you must understand the hard situation I was into...

Maybe to help this last level, you should have used the right stick cube for the bottom part and the left stick cube for the top part. This way it would have been possible to move and shoot at the same time. for the upper part and continue the puzzle part when not shooting.

Well done for a 5 hours game

@kack3y Hello kackey, thanks for the comment/review. I get that it was hard, I am still not that good at balancing stuff (maybe I should have asked someone to playtest it for me :D).I am glad you liked it, though.

Playing on keyboard is really complicated :( still an interesting idea and pretty good execution in five hours :)

christian-koch 2018-04-29 12:44

@honey Hello honey, thanks for the short comment. I get that. I will remember it for the next time :)

honey 2018-04-29 13:15

@Christian-Koch Sorry for being so short, the problem I meant is the proximity of Del key from arrow keys, would it been control or shift or something bit closer to arrows, then it would've been much better. Or was it on purpose? I know that there's kind of close Del key on num pad, but not everone has one, so I would definitely recommend to think it through one more time :) Hope this helps more! Thanks anyways, playing with controller was definitely more fun ;)

christian-koch 2018-04-29 17:33

@honey sorry if "short" sounded mean. I did not mean it in that way. I am happy for every letter someone writes for me :D Thanks for this update I really appreciate it :)

annie-owl 2018-04-29 17:47

Neat idea. You managed to make quite a lot in a short time of 5 hours. But i have a question: Is it a bug or is there no audio? If that wasn't a bug, then why don't you exclude your game from audio category? Because it's impossible to rate your game in that category right now, there was no sounds for me.

christian-koch 2018-04-29 18:26

@Annie-Owl Hello Annie, thanks for the comment. There is no audio in the game. I thought I excluded my game already, but seems like I missed that. Thanks for the information :)

honey 2018-04-29 19:33

@Christian-Koch Oh, no, it did not, I just realized that information value of "playing on keyboard is complicated" is zero, so I wanted to be of little more use to you with my feedback. That's how feedback really should be, isn't it? :)
