This is a quaint little game! I really like the artwork and the sound (although it was so loud when I started it up that I almost screamed). I think the most obvious thing that needs work here is the balancing of coins vs. powerups. I played for a little while and only ever could save up enough coins to buy the cheapest one. With a little tweaking this would be awesome!
Love the game, love the concept, the theme comes into play, love the artstyle. The room can seem bland sometimes, and I hate the moving archer dude... but it feels like you're supposed to...
The menu was clear and easy to understand, but some upgrades were kind of unclear. When i bought them though, they name of the upgrade made sense.
I think the only thing I can say could be improved would be balance... and maybe the final boss(though it might've just been me who had upgraded shots until i could just spam... Whoops)
