This game lacks challenge and it not very fun. All I think it needs is some kind of hazard or challenge to overcome and make the game more interesting. I really like the player model.

You would probably get a much better game with careful level design instead of procedural generation :)
A lot of users don't want to download any data of a Game Jam. So try to build a HTML 5 version of it. It will increase the number of player that will try your game. :)
