@versatile-box Thanks! Fixed, try it now with a friend
It would be helpful if you had it uploaded as a zip file. Google Drive is taking a long time to zip it so that I can download & play.
@narve Your wish is my command! I made it, now you can download without any problems
I can't seem to get past the character selection screen, clicking on the 'READY' button doesn't seem to do anything :(
@ethos It's only possible to click ready if you are playing with more than one player. Try with a friend later (a joystick is necessary).
The mechanics are not well communicated, thought the respawn was bugged out. Leading one player not able to play at all. Then when you throw your sword you sometimes kill yourself (if you have friendly fire, I know you are supposed to hit others of the same team). A shame because I really liked how it felt to move, the grass cutting animation is beautiful and the song gives it a nice fast mood.
Controller was a bit weird also, kept going right or left even we let go. Maybe add some dead-zone or something
Was really funny though, having an armie of players bettling out, swords flying everywhere, highly recommend :D
Thanks @oskarolausson your feedback is important to us! And yes, we has a lot of bugs, but we will improve these ones. Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed.
Nide idea, and very fun to play with friends (or a brother) it has a lot of details that make it great. I don't undesrtand why I die on snow level, but anyways, the game has potential. Congrats, I hope to see a post-jam version!
Great idea! I didn't actually have another human handy to test the multiplayer aspect, but the controls seemed nice and smooth both with the controller and the keyboard (but please have mercy on QWERTZ keyboard users... X and Z feels like I'm doing gymnastics with my fingers). I don't know whether that's intentional or not, but the music kept fading out whenever more than two players were throwing their swords (lightsabers?) at once. The graphics are somewhat weird, with the different pixel sizes and awkward color palette, but the animations are nicely done, the grass-cutting effect is really neat!
Overall great job! I'm sure this would be a lot of fun if I had friends :P
