Well, I'm not sure what have I played. I guess that the more you attack, less the damage you deal is? There are a lot of collision issues, the level of the sword can be under 0, and you can reach the princess without attacking once. The graphics and music were good. Keep coding!
I like the graphics and the animations. On the gameplay, the fact that you heart yourself when attacking (your shadow?) is interesting but I think you need to provide other way so the only way to get to the princess wouldn't be to just jump over the enemies. Is it normal that I died when I join the princess?
