It's a very short and simple game. What I like about it is that the controls are simple and intuitive - something that can be hard to do. And I probably should be scared of the squid, but it's pretty cute XD
My advice would be to add sfx and a restart button - I had to refresh the tab whenever I wanted to beat that squid down :P Other than that, it was pretty nice.
I never really figured out how to make the boat look in a direction, it seemed a little easy as well. Really cool idea with some cool art and design!
Couldn't enjoy the gameplay at start as I was expecting the ship to turn towards the direction I'm looking at, eventually I got used to controls, would be more clear if camera was fixed. Managed to defeat the squid on third try. It is fun enough though could use some powerups, graphics is very good especially the tentacles.
The pixel water is great
