This is neat! But I think it would be better as a turn-based game. The way it is now I was always frantically clicking on an area and hammering the "turn" button a few times to keep from going extinct. Also: I think it's how the numbers work out but what often happened was that an area went from a full population bar to no humans left in 1 turn, which didn't give me any time to react.
YES, @zirrrus - THAT would definitely make this thing better. I didn't like the frantic-ness of it, but it never occurred to me to make it turn-based!
