I liked the idea of using a sunstone to go through the scenario, very interesting concept for game navigation! I got confused sometimes though, I that kind of person that get lost with directions. :)
Great game, congrats!
I also made a viking-themed game, but my technologies were brewing (already ancient at the time) and longships (new then, ancient now).
Your game has a lot of boring downtime while you sail into whatever direction towards the current goal
The Game is really hard to understand at first, you should really put an instruction text in there.
