I love love LOVE this! I had a similar idea but it was in 3d and I couldn't get my unity ropes to receive the energy expected from the friction of the motor. Your execution though is waaaay better and efficient than what I imagined.
Fantastic game, I loved winding the cord around pulleys and stuff :D The only level I had issue with was the catapult, I didn't really understand what the curved piece was supposed to be doing :P Nice job!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Really nice game. I love the dynamic rope. It just goes so smooth. At first I did not realized how to finish the level properly, becasue when you do the level the wrong way the game doesn't really tell you. It just waits for you to rewind. I think it would be nice if the ropes got pulled even when they are placed in the wrong way. But I think that's nothing important.
The game is great :D

Really good use of the theme, though I agree with the other comment that some of the levels aren't clear as to what each thing does.

The presentation and art is awesome, but the solutions feel arbitrary. The game seemed really straightforward until I hit one I where I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong (puzzle 5, IIRC). I don't feel like the rules were fully explained.

Great game! ^^ Love the idea, nice art style, calming music, maybe the levels don't graduate the difficulty (I found the most difficult the catapult =) ).
I've made a short let's play video, if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHbaZPrEjfQ

Hard to believe this could have been made in such a short time...
