The controls are very fast. I got to the right side, but I think other people will have problem with the heavy gravity. I liked the mechanic with the bird not being able to pass the dark grid edges and the camera sway back to the character when respawning! Graphics and sound could be improved. Gratz on your first platformer game!

Good game but next time try not to add a file that says Do Not Click. All it makes people do is want to click it

Well done on your first game! I like the idea of the platforms that the bird can't cross.
Would recommend you play around a bit with the speed of moving, falling and jumping to see if you can find a less 'twitchy' feel for your next game. Unless that's what you like, of course :)
Couldn't load the main jar on MacOS with Java 8 because of a java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/ld35/LudumDare35 : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Also, the cutesy do not run jar has "no main manifest attribute" so it doesn't work either.
@zenmumbler I've recompiled the project with the latest version of Java 8 and re-uploaded it, but if that doesn't work I cant think of anything else.
The game has good idea and mechanic but the game speed need to refine. besides, i got bugged into a block below me when i am at the starting area.
Nice game concept and mechanics but need bit tweaking
Good job on the game! I loved the concept, and it was really fun! The jumping was a bit strange, and the ending seemed, well, nonexistant. Overall, good job!

Congratulations on your first game. The bird was quite difficult to control because of the fast movement, it made me wonder whether the movement speed was tied to framerate?
@qu2 - it's not tied to the frame rate (It uses delta time) - its just quite fast and one of those things that I didn't really notice during development, but has come up as being a bit of a problem.
