Honestly would've preferred no sfx whatsoever over the overly aggressive and distorted sfxr/bfxr ones.

Thanks for the feedback, so what did you guys dislike about the audio? Do you feel the sfx themselves were out of place or just the ones I chose?

Hey nice job! Something about knocking people out in rapid succession that is pretty... satisfying. It's got that hotline miami vibe :) I agree that the sfx don't quite match the aesthetic that you have - also having a sfx when you get hit would be helpful. Maybe flashing your character or the screen red when you get hit as well to let you know when you are taking damage.
