A bit tricky playing it with just left and right turn and not the normal WASD. Got the hang of it pretty fast, so it was less of a challenge. Reminds me of many hours wasted in FastTracker II Nibbles :)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD34 → Snake

Nice take on the classic game. When blocks appeared adjacent to walls, it became pretty hard to dodge, but as a snake fan, nice job, :)
thanks for making the classic - someone had to do it
Cool version
Got 44!
Simple, but yet really fun and great to play!
Congratulations, that's really the kind of things I like to see in LD!
Well, it is a classic game I totally forgot when it came to the themes. Both themes covered perfectly, it's kind of cool. The thing is, within the time limit it could have been improved in 3 ways I somewhat miss:
#1 Whenever I see "personal best score" I want to see it grow when my actual score reaches it. Like those awesome arcade ports for NES and SNES. I want to see both the score and personal score grow at the same time. Without that, snake is just not the same. xD
#2 Visuals.
#3 Music.
The implementation of both themes is 200% perfect nonetheless and I really respect that!
I don't like it when it is stuck on the wall. :( Controls are responsive. Congratulations on K.I.S.S.
