So simple, but I loved it. The movement was a bit frustrating, and I got caught a number of times on the dog, even though I wasn't moving when he saw me. But the sound effects were awesome (aha, that sleeper), and the gameplay was really smooth and fun.
Did I mention the sound effects?

Great graphics and audio but the spacebar key moves the monster wayyyy too slow?

Simple and effective but the spacebar as control was slow and frustrating. Good sound effects.

Ridiculously frustrating game.
First off, movement mechanics: each press of the spacebar seemed to move me at most one pixel forward, maybe less. My hand was starting to cramp before I reached the toybox on the first screen. I had to write up an autohotkey script to get through the game.
Second, the timing on the traps was complete guesswork. I realize in retrospect the audio cues were supposed to help, but the whole audio just became an ambient mess and I ended up just skooching forward and stopping at random points until the threat passed. I can't imagine how frustrating this would've been if I hadn't been mashing space 30 times per second. I generally like audio-based mechanics, but these just didn't work out because of the input system. Sorry.

Didn't understand what the sounds were supposed to be or what they meant. The hand drawn art was very nice, and it's what pulled me into the game. The spacebar as a control is fine, but moving that slow, especially when nothing happens on the first screen, is very frustrating.
