I couldn't run it. Do I need visual studio?

peecestudios 2015-04-23 20:25

Would not load for me!

It ran fine for me. I didn't have anyone to play with, but for some reason, playing it versus myself was still entertaining, probably because it was so hard.

I just updated the description. Apparently it needs .Net Framework and XNA Framework Redistributable 4 to work... I'll see if I can swap to Unity on the next contest to avoid these problems and to be readily available on web.

@dreadilla, peecestudios: Does it work after following the instructions from microsoft website?

You could distribute xour game with mono/monogame runtime, this wouldn't require to install xna and .net.
But anyway, for the first game great achievement!

Gave it a go and it seemed there was a good base for a mechanic there but it was a bit hard to understand what was going on half the time.

Physics is a little weird, and not sure about how much of an 'unconventional weapon' I saw, but the game is still pretty fun to play.

Pretty hard and fun!

Neat game. I like the extra additions to pong. Though i wish the hit boxes were a big bigger to match the art. Also i fail to see how this applies to the theme, so had to rate you low there. Otherwise good entry.
