Interesting use of the theme. It was quite hard though, it seemed to just get to a point where they were spawning faster than I can hit myself with the hammer to kill them.

Indeed quite simple, but congratulations on your first LD entry nonetheless.
Restarted the game a few times by closing it before I realized you could restart with control :P. At first I just stood in a corner whacking myself in the head with the hammer, but then I realized I had to act quickly or the enemies would soon take over.

Thanks for the comments! It is a bit hard, as nassi says the key is to be quick - if you kill as many of the initial enemies as possible before getting overwhelmed, you should be able to keep them under control. I thought about adding difficulty settings but ran out of time in the end :)

haha, crazy game :p damn, I let Amy die a lot. Need to hit her head more and more. Oh, and it worked without problems on Linux ;)

I really liked the pixel art and the overall retro style! :) And actually, it's kind of a hard game.

You really do have to get ahead early! My first go I got overwhelmed and ended up facing the wall and pummeling myself as the monsters ran into my back, which it turns out is not an effective strategy. Anyway, congrats on your first LD!
