Interesting concept! Unfortunately it felt like I did next to no healing as most of the enemies just got one shot anyway. Some sort of sound effect for the healing might have been a nice way of reinforcing some of the gameplay mechanics - I did occasionally see my remorse meter go down, if only a little. The names of the characters were pretty funny. On the other hand, I felt like I just got mobbed way too quickly and it made more sense to run and hide in corners than to bother healing anyone, so I didn't really enjoy the game that much.
Names were pretty funny, the game doesn't give a lotta feedback on healing dude, but the concept for a good game is definitely here. Good stuff for a first LD submission.
I'll be seeing you around, Kerl. ;)
Nice idea but as the others said healing wasnt very effectiv so you basicly ran away from the enemies altering you direction quite often in the hope they dont kill each other.
Very cool concept. Plus you get serious bonus points for how smoothly this downloaded and ran on my computer. Honestly, it wasn't pretty or fun, and I couldn't figure out a goal besides just dying slower, but it's an idea that you can definitely work with.
I really dig the inversion of the typical shooter mechanics. I agree with others that the healing didn't feel impactful. Also, the optimal way to play is to press the button as fast as possible. Reminds me of a Vlambeer quote - if you're going to give the player a button to press, you should also give them a reason not to press it!
