Interesting entry. I love the graphics and audio works, and the storyline is both funny and interesting at the same. I'm amazed that you were able to put so much content is such a short time frame! This game has the most developed storytelling attribute I've tested so far in this compo :)!

I completed the game, though I'm not 100% sure of how it played: pressing X simply allows you to go through the "terrain" tiles to go get the crown? Or was there some additional mechanic that I missed?

i like the gameplay concept, it was a little hard to tell where to put the focus without redoing the level a few times though.

Really cool entry. One of the rare Ludum Dare game which immediately caught my attention towards its narration. The gameplay wasn't very clear but I kind of understood what to do. The writing is the core interest of the game I think: jokes, funny characters, original starting pitch and kind of touching final twist. Loved the laugh animation and sfx btw ^^

The focus mechanic was a really innovative /if slightly hard to grasp/ mechanic. Game looks good, sounds nicely and is funny - good writing!

I loved the intro and the writing was really funny! "For some reason I don't feel like using P magic." XD

The mechanic was really hard for me to figure out. I didn't quite get why I was using spacebar magic where I was. I just kind of did a trial and error thing.

I thought that the sound was really well done, and I'm surprised you fit such an elaborate story into your LD game! That's really impressive, especially since it was so funny. Nice work. :)

Hmm. Well, first, I'm glad you guys liked the story and the writing so much! A bit surprising, too, since that wasn't really my focus. I may try a dialogue-driven game next LD.

Looking back on it now, giving the player a button and saying "figure it out" probably wasn't the best way to introduce them to this mechanic. In a nutshell, everything that's not visible from the focus point is nonsolid in the grass world. So, normally, everything in the grass world seems to be solid, since, if you can collide with it, you can probably see it. When you put down the focus point, everything that you can't see in the grass world is no longer solid, so you can pass through it.

I found this entry very interesting. The mechanic was fun and I feel like it could be greatly expanded on in a post jam version.

Took me a while before I get the gameplay mechanic, it was great. That laugh though xD

That's great, the concept of alterning between to environement in the same time is really fun, I just think that casting the spell was a bit long but nice job

Wow, you did a lot of work here! Impressive. Took me longer than I'd like to figure out what the hell I was doing but after messing around a bit I got the hang of it. Good audio (very classic), a story?! awesome, as most of these games don't have one, and working levels. Line of sight as a game concept is truly a unique entry. Good job.
