Uhhh source code isn't really enough to run a game. At least include what engine you used in the description so people have a chance.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD25 → Rob: The Thief

Please include the jar file.
Created a jar file and some mac/linux scripts as well as a windows .bat for running easily. Attempting to create an applet soon as well.
Nice game :) Work more on on the smoothness of the game, add more levels and bonuses and it could be a really awesome game :D See you on the next LudumDare!
It's a good start - some solid platforming, though a bit unforgiving and fairly quick to get through otherwise. For next time, it's probably worth trying out a simple gravity system (i.e., acceleration) rather than simply moving up and down.
This is a great start, and now you have a nice platformer engine that you can work from. As others have said, some more variety and some more dynamic controls (acceleration, gravity, etc) would be great, but everything is here and works great.
By the way, if you're looking for a better host than dropbox, you might check out the free Java hosting I offer at http://StaticVoidGames.com. Our uploader handles deployment automatically. Either way, nice work!
Definitely a good start. Needs additional level, and then probably after that a good arcing jump to make the gameplay feel smoother.
Sorry, couldn't run "Could not find the main class: com.spotlightcoding.Rob" tried both the .bat and the jar file.
