I found the evolution cycles too long, especially since there is not much going on in that petri dish :) I also got the feeling that the evolutionary perks were of diminished consequence because of the low difficulty in general. Aside from that this game looks and plays pretty solid, e.g. the assets are complete and fit very well together.

Could be a little slow -- but the music kept me going through a couple of mutations :)

I liked the idea. Too bad it's no possible to reach the 9999 cells, got 2,6k at most then there isn't enough food to sustain those :D
The only mutation option that seems worthwhile is speed.
