This is not a fail, it is a success, you manage to do a lot of things, even with souns, collisions, 3d movement ,these are a lot of good advanced stuff, just keep it learning and grow, i enjoyed your game like others, your time put into this will give better fruits ;)

My first Ludum Dare (previous to this 24) I learn to use Unity but can't finish the game. The next one you will create something better! Good job!
I don't think it can be considered a fail if you actually posted a game, just keep in mind some people give up. There is a lot of time between now and LD25 to brush up on some modeling and to get more comfortable with Unity. :)
