I think it's a clever idea. But got bored of that much repetition and stopped playing (couldn't get out of the fourth room, where you start again).

I didn't like that jump stops if you hit a wall (can't jump if you have a wall on your right and you're pressing 'D').

Also, if you try to go back to the previous room you can't get out (jail bars not working and you have to restart).

The game's alright. The lack of animation is a bit annoying but it's still decent.

I do imagine that if you were to add animation, sounds, background music and maybe a few more levels that it would increase the overall epicness of the game by a lot.

It would look better if the player had some simple animations. I got to the beginning again, but then I gave up as I saw the it just keeps repeating.

I have to rate you down on community just because of the upload site you've chosen; I don't like these kind of ads...

Is there an ending to the game? Or it just keeps repeating? Or that is the point maybe? That you can't escape?

Anyway, it was pretty good!

4 levels - a bit short, still nice! :D
Yay 4 Java! Btw, you can include resources (images/sound/etc.) in the jar, just use "/Images/Button.png" for loading for example ;-)

At first I had trouble getting the game to work (Windows 7 64 bit) but starting it via the console helped. I liked how the old man accompanied you on your journey but it doesn't go with the theme.
