Excellent game! The best I've seen so far! Took a long time to play through, which is good, and the graphics and sounds were very attractive. Very well done.

The title screen text got cut off on my screen, the "standing on the portal" sound is really annoying for me, and thus I began this game slightly underwhelmed... but then I found out how big your world was, the really nice tilesets, the precise platforming mechanics, and I was pretty blown away. AND a second ending. Nice work :)
I think this is a really cool game with a lot of small unfortunate details--such as the title sequence, certain sound effects, the lack of ambient background music--that keep it from being really, really cool.

However, at first sight there are a lot of things that will turn people away from the game: the story screen cut in half, and the sounds were mentioned, but the control scheme is also a bit iffy. Ctrl to shoot and Shift to jump is a combinations that is not very good to the hands - added that there is no explanation to the controls, I had to fiddle with the keyboard for a bit until I found them.
But after you get past these initial hurdles, it is a game well worth playing. Thanks!
PS: Oh yeah, I liked the decision that you made about how water interacts with the robot, and the small file size. Two +1s for you!
I remember seeing your MAP POSTS before the deadline! This is pretty dang big. I died a lot... but you used CHECKPOINTS so you get kudos!
Nice big platformer! I beat it with a bit of frustration until I gave up on the red cards. I wish the monsters didn't respawn when I died, or that there were more checkpoints. But a good complete game. :)
