Controls were definitley a stumbling block when i first started playing, but they actually work fairly well, also, maybe it's just me, but the level design is very hit and miss, some give you lots of cover to work with and space out the enemies, others just seem like a maze full of blobs of enemies. The gameplay is very fun though, once you get used the controls, art is utilitarian, but still looks very good.
The controls are really hard, but there's definitely something here, if those controls were a bit refined, they could be awesome !
Controls took a while to get used to (still gets confusing). Maybe if the screen rotated around the player... I found that running and dodging things was usually better than trying to kill them.
Yeah, this would have been much more enjoyable with standard WASD up/down/left/right movement. However, there is something to be said about the sheer joy of strafing and madly clicking the mouse to shoot bullets along with the accompanying sound effect.
