INSTRUCTIONS: This is a 2-player, turn-based game. Use the left mouse button to select where you'll move your character, then press ENTER.
The other player then decides where to move his character in the same manner on his map.
After a certain number of turns you get seeds which you can use to grow plants either in your own map (which gives you a movement boost) or in the opponent's map (which makes him lose a turn). You can place these seeds by pressing the right mouse button on either map.
Every certain number of turns the darker parts of the map will begin to get flooded. Be careful not to be caught in it! You win by moving your character to the boat.
Originally the game was going to be played over a network but we didn't manage to get the network functionality implemented, so instead players take turns. Please consider "Local player" to be the player in the left-hand map, and "Remote player" to be the player in the right-hand map. Thanks!
I'm not sure if maybe I just didn't understand something, but for some reason the right-hand side guys just wouldn't move anymore. Is there maybe a bug with putting a plant on the same space your opponent is in?
Can't win. Is this a know bug? Or is it because the right-side player put a plant were the left-side player went (at the same turn)? Difficult to enjoy when you play against myself though :)
I also had the bug. The 2x players were blocked ( only able to plant seed ). The game mechanics seems good anyway
