No, it's not just you... As the game stands in the LD release the game is quite difficult...
Sliding after landing combined with tiny platforms made this more difficult than it needed to be, but the swinging sword(?) mechanic was pretty cool.
Yeap swinging sword :D. I've been trying to fix the sliding after landing but box2D doesn't seem to want to let me do that without allowing wall jumping
