| Oct 25 16:21:38 | Don't Run | ♥ 1 | I find the pacing of the game spot on. It took me about 25 minutes to finish it and the game kept me interested for the time. I was struggling with navigation at first until I figured out that verbs are presented with all nouns, not just a subset of nouns they can be applied to. I really loved the music and suspense it builds, while you go through the story. Here's my play through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xvUAg28SUg | |
| Oct 25 16:48:19 | 26m 41s | Dr Break Boom Invaders | ♥ 1 | I really loved the combination of these classic games and how they interact with each other. I'm not young, so it was not easy to keep up with all four of them, but I tried anyway 😄 The implementation of each game is great, the CRT effect is spot on, SFX and that they create a soundscape is so good, this all returns me back to 90s with simpler games, waiting for them to load from floppy forever, but still enjoying them. They only non-intuitive thing for me was that I didn't track lives very well for each of the game, I had no idea when I'll lose any of the games to figure out the better strategy to be in the game for longer. | Oct 25 17:33:03 | 44m 44s | Across The Meridian | ♥ 0 | I played through the game twice, as I didn't get the idea after the first play through, that I'm just a mortal. Merketh is such a simple and nice instrument and the ending is both confusing at first (hence I played the second time) and super cool. Audio is very atmospheric, as well as the whole experience. | Oct 26 16:39:59 | 23h 06m | TeleFÓ | ♥ 1 | I liked the idea of a job simulator for old tech, really puts everything in a perspective. My first play through I got to ~11 and my second I was able to bank ~33 I think. I encountered a couple of bugs while doing so, like a line calling when it was already connected and not finished, or a list of 0- on the left, which kept confusing me. I haven't tried this approach, but what if you just turn every key switch at the start and turn them off only when you connect two lines? That might be a better strategy?
