Apr 16 01:47:57 Siela ♥ 9 This game is a vibe. The gameplay felt a little lacking; I wish there was more to do or enemies or something, but I loved the ambience and mood. So spooky!
Apr 16 01:54:05 6m 08s Good Night! Sleep with the Demon! ♥ 3 I wish I could summon a sleep demon for real! I somehow didn't notice the horrifying (yet somehow cute) worm demon that was consumes the sheep until I played it a second time. I agree that the screen was small on the itch page, it would be nice to make it bigger.
Apr 16 03:22:44 1h 28m Summoner's Rifft ♥ 3 Dang, this game rules. It's hard, though. I love the concept: maybe the one of the skeletons in the necromancer's horde doesn't want to fight for him anymore!
Apr 16 03:52:36 29m 52s Summoning for Hungry Wizards ♥ 1 I'm so confused! This game is awesome and I love the aesthetic and the idea and and the graphics and the gameplay and the food characters. I just wish there was a bit more help with how summoning each of the ingredients works. I saw the helper pages but they weren't enough for me to figure it out
Apr 16 16:55:02 13h 02m Zauberkraut ♥ 0 I liked: - The demons are so cute! I especially like the little ghost with scissors and then the bigger ghost with garden shears. Plus the wizard in the corner looking confusedly at the spellbook is cute too. - The theme was great. No jobs are hiring? Time to do some gardening. - I liked the particle effects when you do the summoning. I didn't like: - The summoning music cuts in over top of the background music and is a little jarring, but I guess that adds to the demonic feeling. - The gameplay is too easy... There wasn't any challenge, it was just copying the patterns onto the board, one at a time. Maybe one idea is that some of the patterns could overlap, so you have to figure out the correct order to do the summoning.
Apr 16 17:16:41 21m 39s The Unlikely Messenger ♥ 3 I liked: - The intro cutscene holy cow! It's like watching a movie. I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this. - The story idea around the summoning is very cool. I won't spoil it but I loved the reveal of who they summoned. - The music is awesome. I didn't like: - The gameplay wasn't particularly original. There's a lot more you could add to it but I can see that you ran out of time. Maybe level two will improve on the formula. I would love to play more and see where you take it! - I was disappointed to learn that the character portraits and backgrounds and even the music were produced by AI. I know they're allowed, and it's a game jam so you should use all the tools at your disposal, but in this case I feel like they overshadowed the rest of it somewhat.
Apr 16 17:59:41 43m 00s Cat and Box ♥ 1 I love it! This type of puzzle game is my favorite. The levels are really thoughtfully designed so that you have that satisfying "aha" moment to figure out the twist. My game is also a Sokoban-like if you want to check it out too!
Apr 16 18:30:06 30m 25s Bring Forth The Master ♥ 4 I loved the vibes. Very spooky atmosphere. All the rooms being nearly identical makes it feel liminal, like you're lost in the backrooms. The pixel screen effect helps too in a way that I can't quite describe. I appreciated the noise that plays while you're being chased. I don't have to keep turning around to see if they're still behind me. The start screen music is very spooky and cool. I wish it played during gameplay at some point. I don't usually like stealth games but I kept going for longer with this one because of the atmosphere. Good job!
Apr 17 02:52:04 8h 21m Chicken Slayground ♥ 4 So cute!
Apr 17 21:27:14 18h 35m Sheep Tunes ♥ 8 The music combinations are super cool, I love it! Plus the graphics and the overall mood is awesome. On the one hand it's confusing that the cards have no visual indication of what they'll do or sound like but it is a nice stylistic choice. The cards that just have illustrations remind me of the board game Dixit. Anyway this game is awesome, good job!
Apr 18 15:58:47 18h 31m The Chosen One ♥ 2 This was great! I was cheering for my chosen one the entire time. It took me a little while to realize that I had to drop things from my inventory for them to pick up, but once I got that it was a lot of fun. I think this could work really well as a multiplayer battle royale game, too.
Apr 18 16:05:45 6m 58s The Cultivator’s Conjuring Compendium ♥ 3 I love it! It reminds me of Slay the Spire. I liked the variety of things you could do with the cards. I think I ran into a bug, though. After I beat the first plant, the text on the cards disappeared? Screenshot 2024-04-18 at 9.03.47 AM.png
Apr 18 16:15:13 9m 28s Unholy Cow ♥ 2 This was fun! I got a high score of 598. I liked having to switch between the weapons and balance the cooldowns. I noticed the helper guys went out to collect bones so I tried to let the enemies die closer to the middle to make it easier for them. Also the techno music that plays when you use the laser is a nice touch. Screenshot 2024-04-18 at 9.11.20 AM.png
Apr 18 16:28:41 13m 28s Child of Ruin ♥ 11 Wow! This game feels like it was made over the course of a year by a whole game studio. Getting 40ish people to work seamlessly together is no easy feat. I wonder if anyone worked as a project manager! The graphics, the music, the gameplay, the scenery, the cutscenes, the story, it's all incredible. Kudos. I think I ran into a bug during combat, though. It looks like these boxes along the bottom are supposed to have something in them, but they were blank. So I got pretty confused. Apr 19 01:42:44 9h 14m A bird dabbles in Source-Destination summoning ♥ 0 Hooray, another Puzzlescript game! My game is made in Puzzlescript too :) This game is awesome. It's challenging but solvable. I got stuck on the desync level for a while and had to go eat dinner and come back to it. As soon as I came back, I solved it. I love that "aha" feeling when the solution finally clicks, and this game captures that beautifully.
