I think there's a little work that could be done to make the platforming experience a little smoother - the player's position sometimes seems to register in weird spots, and it's a bit unforgiving (tiny bit of coyote time maybe?). That said, this reminded me of a really short precision platformer. On one of the last levels, which had a lot more height to it, I got almost to the end but then missed a jump (totally my fault) and fell all the way down to the bottom. Felt for a moment like I was playing Bennett Foddy's "Getting Over It", but in a good way. I made a mistake that I could learn from, and it made it even more rewarding when I beat that level (after a few more tries 🙃). Overall fun little short game, great work! |
