You were right, we definitely were on the same thought pattern, but ours turned out so differently! I think this is such a creative way to go about it. Your pixel art style is adorable, and every animation felt so professional, quite frankly I'm a little jealous! I thought even the platforming was well balanced, which is always tricky to test, especially on your own. For your first game, I hope you're really proud of what you've made, because as a one-person job this is so, so impressive. I wish a composer could've joined up with you and given the music this game deserves, because that's the only thing that pulls away from the atmosphere!
