I would have preferred a mouse click to use selected action instead of E but that's a minor complaint. And I found a bug that makes to game crash : in the final room that says "thank you for playing", if you press 3 and then fire the flare gun, the game crashes. But cool game, well done ! |

The intro is very well put together, we can feel the distress of Ludu as she awakens and the magical carrot is gone. And a wholesome final screen with every character eating a cake together ❤️ |

The controls on the ground feel very smooth and snappy but while flying, it does seem a bit slow though. But very cool game overall, nice soundtrack and some synthwave vibes, keep it up ! 👍 |

The visuals are very good although it is sometimes hard to make the difference between what is a "minable" wall and what is the edge of the level, but that’s a minor complaint. The soundtrack is awesome, loved it and the sound design with all the monkey noises, very sweet addition. I’m not sure if it was intended but there’s quite a bit of "crackling" in the music which I’m not really a fan of. I had some minor sprite overlap at some point : 2021-04-30 09_29_54-Monkey Quest by My Sweet Whomp.png And one time I could not buy a heart upgrade and did not know the reason why (I had enough money) : 2021-04-30 09_33_50-Monkey Quest by My Sweet Whomp.png The one thing I was not a fan of was the spawning of monsters when you mine. I get the reason, it’s to make you take a decision, should I mine to get money or should I avoid it to not die. But the thing is, you can always have enough money to buy the upgrades by mining the bare minimum of blocks so it’s not the best implementation in my opinion. Overall though, I had a very fun time, the game is quite long for a jam so congrats, you made a very cool game, keep it up ! |

The music is nice even though it’s a bit repetitive. The scaling is on point, very nicely done, never felt too easy or too hard to buy the upgrades. The difference between "auto" and "speed" is quite hard to grasp at first. Overall, I enjoyed playing through it and very nice choice of music for the end screen, had me chuckling, keep it up ! |
