Character movement might be a bit rough around the edges, but it doesn't get in the way too much. Little trick you could use to make it a bit more responsive is to let the player jump for a fraction of a second after falling off a platform. This helps prevent some accidental deaths that might feel unfair sometimes. Nitpicking aside, I would like to play more of this. It is simple, but in an elegant way. The retro aesthetic is well executed and cohesive, and it adds to the compact feel of the game. Good zombie, I mean, great work guys! |
