Aug 13 03:58:12 Cryptographer ♥ 1 I quite like what you've done here. I expected a lot of games to have a wall coming in to crush you aspect to them, but I was really happy that you made them part of the actual puzzle, by making the process controllable and predictable, as well as an integral part to solving puzzles. I was able to make it to level 9, but after 50 attempts I had to concede, I think I see the solution, but it feels like it's a matter of being incredibly precise on movement, and I couldn't find the exact movements to quite get into the little room housing the exit (I was squished enough times above or below). Is the margin of error that tight on that level?
Aug 13 04:14:03 15m 51s TightFloe ♥ 1 Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry! Your game is a bit confusing; it feels like the game was a bit more commentary than game (in that you will always lose), but I did manage to at least keep peace alive until the second to last tiny piece of ice. The audio is good, but there were some odd effects on the penguins' graphics that didn't make as much sense. Specifically, some penguins would turn completely black but still be moving around, and one penguin turns blue for reason I can see.
Aug 13 11:06:41 6h 52m POP! Save Person McPersonFace ♥ 0 Sound is very good in this game, but the controls get me very confused; I feel left and right are reversed as A turns right and D turns left. I spent so much of the time pressing the opposite direction to what I wanted to go (I haven't played a lot of games with tank controls, but I don't remember them working like this.
Aug 14 01:03:31 13h 56m Orenji-Shima - Orange Jelly Puzzle Island ♥ 1 A very cute and fun idea. The game is very composed and has some good puzzle elements I would like further explored. I really would love to see more puzzles here as it was over way too quickly.
Aug 17 02:52:16 73h 48m Infinity Search ♥ 0 Cool idea of make inventory one use slots. The bounding boxes on the character and environment was a little wonky. Sometimes the area would be clear and the character would get suck, and often it would look like you could go off to the next room and you are blocked by nothing. To fix the first, you could shrink the hit box slightly into the characters, and for the second, just make sure the edges that you can't walk through are drawn with a barrier that matches the collision box.
Aug 17 03:47:04 54m 48s Malthusian Cathouse ♥ 1 Play through #1, I can do this, wait no stop, STALP! 17 cats later I lost. The extra strays making it challenging. Ended with 17 cats and got yelled at. Play through #2, let's rub the cats together to see if I can crash my computer. In all seriousness, the concept was simple but appropriate; and a nice joke since you are literally herding cats. The cat's movement makes sense, not too frenetic, but stubborn. The only technical issue I had was that there were times where either pick up the cat or putting them down didn't trigger as expected. I couldn't figure out if it was an input reading or a hitbox issue.
