I think overall this is a rhythm game first that is mostly wrapped in the _context_ of a tower defence that mostly works to represent to the player how well they're doing. But I think it works well nonetheless and is still an interesting and novel way to visualize a rhythm game. Some of the hit detection felt wonky and unforgiving at times but I might just be bad at it. Good job! | |

I'm a sucker for this kind of game generally, but I loved the concept and the story even if you didn't get time to deliver everything you wanted to. I think I accidentally managed to cheat by giving myself the ticket, wasn't sure if I started with it at first but then when I was checking out the source code it seems there is a (possibly left over debug?) command to just add it to the inventory with the O button. You're also a much cleaner and more sensible coder than I am, I tie my code in knots for game jams but this all seems pretty solid throughout which is a feat in and of itself. I hope because of that you plan on adding more to this, it's great! -S |
