| Commies! | This is the most addicting, polished and coherent entry I've played so far - nothing seems out of place here. I can't but give it a 5, even though most of the specific ratings are worse. Minor bug: The game expects to be played with an American keyboard layout - poor Commies! | ||
| Tekram-S (v1.1) | The lack of real graphics makes this game seem less interesting at first, but then it's a fun play. | ||
| Microbattle | I don't know what it is with those Python entries and their minimal vector graphics, but it doesn't keep this one from getting my 5 on Completeness :) As in many entries, it is frustrating to start over after losing, though. | ||
| infeXion | Looks really great and is rather complete, but has too little to do with infection IMHO. Also, crashed a few times in level two when I was fighting in mid-air. | ||
| Peanut Butter: The Simulator | pwnage! | ||
| Zombiepox | Simple concept, but like in similar games, it gets way too hard once the infection has spread a bit, and it's annoying when zombies get stuck behind headstones. Nice mini game, though. | ||
| Cuzco's Goat Bloat Game | Great presentation, needs more sophisticated gameplay though. | ||
| Pathogen Warrior | Really challenging puzzle game. A bit modest on the presentation side, but the concept rocks. | ||
| Shrooms! | The menu and instructions screens look pretty good, but the game itself does not really convince me. Plus the crash when clicking on the lower part of the screen is annoying. | ||
| Infected! | Not highly innovative, but I really loved the inside-of-body atmosphere :) | ||
| Youve Got COOTIES!! (FINISHED) | One of the few good classic puzzle games in this compo, this one is amazingly polished too. Crashed near the end, though. | ||
| Diaspora | Kind of interesting if you know Life, but rather experimental. | ||
| Jelly | Interesting concept, would work way better with real graphics and easier controls though. | ||
| SDLInfection | Starts out interesting, but the later missions are a bit disappointing. Still a solid entry! | ||
| Infectrons (FINISHED) | Interesting concept, but unfortunately it is frustrating that the levels are either ridiculously easy or impossible to beat. | ||
| Infectoban | Wee! That's a nice one. I like addicting little puzzle games, and I think this compo has way too few of them (at least I've not seen a good one so far). Could have needed some kind of ingame tutorial/story explanation, though. | ||
| The Trouble with Tribbles | Nice game, with sounds and music it would have been really complete. I like how the game has a 'world map' and even integrates it into gameplay. | ||
| infekchion | Could have been a lot better if it had a more infection-ish atmosphere. | ||
| Plague City | Entertaining until you run into the lack of a winning condition. | ||
| Zombie Death (FINISHED) | Gameplay actually feels pretty good, but it's more about Zombies than about Infection, IMHO. | ||
| Innoculator4x4 | Supersonic ambulance chasing boys with green hair...the weirdness keeps you playing it for a while. | ||
| Gooploid | Can't say a lot about this one. I think if the basic concept had been more convincing, it would have been easier to get good ratings for the other categories. | ||
| Mucus Infection | Actually it's a fun little game, but it's just that :( |
