Aug 29 00:54:00 Ancient Technology A strange machine with strange sights to see. Got a little wild playing with the bottom right row.
Aug 29 01:07:00 13m 00s Pong 2.0 Hah! And what a fun twist!
Aug 29 01:39:00 32m 00s A Decent Game With A Great Soundtrack I had fun playing your game!

Seems like you put some good thought into introducing different concepts/skills throughout the levels: waiting for moving platforms, moderating speed for some jumps and block pushing, and backtracking to get a running start.

Nice suspense when you reach a crest of a hill hoping you have enough momentum to make it over; Pushing the arrow button like mad until my hand/wrist gets sore. Hah!

Nice work on the game and the soundtrack!
Aug 30 20:45:00 43h 06m Super Egyptian UFO Cat Pyramid Overlord 2000 BC Right away I noticed and enjoyed the kinda tube tv/monitor effect. I like how you visualize the player's score with a pyramid at the end of a level! Fun play with the theme too!
Aug 30 21:53:00 1h 08m Temple Quest I found Temple Quest rather challenging: requiring good timing, pressing several keys together or back to back, and later managing resources/bridges; I did not complete the game, so unfortunately I did not see all the content; fortunately we can skip parts if we get stuck. I found that there seemed to be new mechanics each level and plenty of game to play! Nice work!
Aug 31 01:21:00 3h 28m Proof I had fun shooting the mummies, shooting the ankhs, and discovering that I can shoot to intercept the boss' projectiles (physics on the projectiles ftw!); I had fun shooting! The background music is a nice touch. The lighting caught my attention too (in a good way). I also appreciate the humor your brought to the compo.
Sep 19 04:25:00 459h 04m Lione's Letter acotis, I enjoyed finding my way out of that room in your game: Lione's Letter. I found the recipes and hidden objects fun to build/solve; I never found the game frustrating or too difficult (respectful of the player time); and I enjoyed finding the hidden items and progressing through the tech/recipes. In the recipe books I'd spot an item I didn't have in my inventory, and go off on a search, to be quickly rewarded with finding that item. A nice sense of progress with the recipe book, and nice feeling of accomplishment finding the ingredients.

Good job getting music in! It adds to the atmosphere/immersion, with a good use of the dynamics/volume/rise'n'fall, and feel to the game.

Looking through multiple recipe books trying to find an escape does sound more grand/epic than looking through a single book. I'm not sure I understand how the recipe's were divided between the books. Perhaps I didn't pay enough attention to what recipes were in which books, so I'd often find myself pressing both buttons once I got the ingredients for a recipe on the table.

I like how you cleverly named the past explorer Lione Deliel, who was stuck 36 days ago, for your Ludum Dare 36th Compo entry. As a caver/spelunker myself, I liked backstory of a spelunking mission.

I had fun playing your game!
Sep 19 04:47:00 22m 00s Chariot Racing Manager 44 BC The chariots and horses, look good! Breeding the horses, striving to get better horses, is fun. Occasionally I'd have bouts of slow down or encounter pauses or freezes in game. A fun use of the theme too!
Sep 19 05:14:00 27m 00s Kvetch-A-Sketch The Kvetch-A-Sketch looks great! I enjoy the stickers on the front, and the fingers moving the controls.

The force effect was clear from looking at it, and after a my first encounter with the disintegration and no-draw-zone it made sense of what they did. Good communications there.

The elements and controls were good. I ended at the gray/no-draw-zone cross level.

Sometimes the physics seemed to vary from one ball re-spawn to another. Some times I had to erase/shake more than once to get the ball to follow its original trajectory for a level (happened on the cross level).

I am impressed! Great visuals, good puzzling, creative mechanics. Nicely done!
Sep 19 05:50:00 36m 00s Cronus' Tomb Robin 'sod off' Field, I'm impressed, nice work, you've got so much in this game, so much quality stuff!
Graphics, look great! check.
Sound, yep got sound effects! check.
Dialog/story, check.
Game play, check.
Content, traps, puzzles, baddies, mini bosses, bosses! Awesome! check.
Music, check!

Good timing for heals after completing rooms. Unfortunately I didn't beat the first boss (personal time restraints, and not wanting to attempt to complete the western/left route a third/fourth time).

Well rounded, fun, challenging, nice atmosphere/feeling. Great work!
Sep 19 06:11:00 21m 00s Archimedes' DEATH RAY Wooh! 3D, ooo, ahhh!
Nice ships and sound effects of them collapsing.
And you've got hands! Fog, the sun, and more!
On my PC (that gets dismal Frames per second in many games)I got a high score of 11!
Good use of theme!
Sep 19 06:31:00 20m 00s Most Ancient of Technologies - Catapult Hah! Nice play with the theme! I recall playing a game on a similar handheld when I was young boy.

Well done. Took but a death or two to learn the timing of the arrows coming down, just like learning timing for the games on similar handhelds. Nice job adding in additional challenges (like the knight crossing the bridge) as the player progresses. Also true to form increasing speed. Sound effects are appropriate too.

Nice work! I had fun!
Sep 19 06:47:00 16m 00s Ištēn Nice use of the theme. A very useful technology: being able to store information.

After a couple attempts I was able to beat the game. Learning to differentiate left and right marks was important for me being able to bring glory to the kingdom/empire.

Built up some tensions as I got to level 4-6, not wanting to fail and start over (but with a couple rounds of practice one can move through tablets quickly, so no big loss of time, I don't think there is a time element involved). The game was not frustrating. It is satisfying to see ones skill improve attempt after attempt; to succeed where one once failed.

I had fun. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
