| Dec 16 00:09:00 | Call of the Void | Lovely game :) the art is very well done. You have a really cool aesthetic locked down. The opening was a great introduction, set the story and idea behind the game really well without going into a ton of exposition. Loved the mechanic. There was a lot of tension being at the whims of gravity, only being able to affect it subtly. Especially when even the smallest action could end in disaster. The music matched the tension while being still being cute and helped make the experience pleasant. One of my favorite moments was when I ran into a sun. I was expecting some explosion or bursting into flames or something dramatic, but instead it made a little ding and he fell apart. I laughed out loud.

Overall great entry Overhook!

p.s. Frolf is up and working now. Thanks for the heads up that something was wrong. | |
| Dec 16 02:36:00 | 2h 27m | Cluster Junk: The Secret of Trash Island | Wonderful game! My favorite Two Scoop jam game so far. it was super pleasant and made me happy to play. This is one I'm going to go back to. It was super satisfying getting bigger and bigger and reading all the silly things that were getting stuck to me. Thanks so much for the awesome game! |
| Dec 16 02:53:00 | 17m 00s | Bellows | AMAZING GAME! Loved so many things about this game. The music and graphics were beautiful. And I kept on playing wanting to hear more and more of the song. i loved how floaty and precarious everything felt. It made me really feel for the little guy. It was adorable. Thank you so much for making this game. We had so much fun playing this! |
| Dec 16 03:12:00 | 19m 00s | Natura | Loved the aesthetic. Combining something hand drawn with something procedural gave it a really interesting and pleasant feeling. Everything looked great so sometimes I just sat and watched the you lose screen so I can watch the clouds go by. The music was a perfect match for the mood and style. This game really made me smile :) Great job! |
| Dec 16 03:31:00 | 19m 00s | Space Plant 6000 | Loved the twitch integration! You had our whole room screaming at each other for help while our friends just sent splace slugs at us over and over. Really cool idea and tons of fun. Thanks for making this! |
| Dec 16 03:41:00 | 10m 00s | Slash Quest | Beautiful game. Super polished. Very cute style and aesthetic. Very clever way of dealing with the two button limit. Using the sword as direction and weapon made it comically unwieldy. We had a ton of fun playing. Great job guys! |
| Dec 16 03:59:00 | 18m 00s | Hello Darkness | Great job. I liked how well the lack of light setup the mood and worked as a mechanic. I also liked how the light wasn't just a defined circle, the light being emitted was kind of grungy which made it feel more authentic. You actually did a pretty good job making things creepy and once you reduced the light I actually got spooked by one of the spike traps. Thank you! |
| Dec 16 04:10:00 | 11m 00s | Crow Wing | Loved the mechanic. The puzzle were interesting without being frustrating. Getting the crows feet and the wings felt really cool. The low poly aesthetic was lovely, along with the music it gave it a surreal quality |
| Dec 16 04:26:00 | 16m 00s | Mt Etubo | Loved the combination of all the effects, the rain, the lava the lightning etc. it was really fun watching all the chaos. It was comical trying as hard as I could trying to convince villagers to not throw themselves in lava. Things were sweet once I unlocked force lightning. Overall it was really pretty. After a game over screen I just had to sit and watch all the pretty lava effects, and smoke and boulders.
It was also nice getting to hear your voice and have you personally set up the explanation for the setting of the game. Thank you so much for making this game! Great job! |
| Dec 16 04:34:00 | 8m 00s | Hydra Chicken | OH MAN the theme song. That was...amazing. Such a cool theme and idea. I broke down when the rapping started. I want the OST. This was a beautiful game for so many reasons. Great job guys! |
| Dec 16 04:47:00 | 13m 00s | BLUE CARROT | That was a really cool concept. And loved the opportunity to play cupid. The graphics and animations were super cute and it was fun to see how many years we could last. Great job! |
| Dec 16 04:57:00 | 10m 00s | PISTIL PISTOL: BOTANY BLAST II | Wonderful game! Puns are in your DNA. You have an awesome handle of game feel. Every blip and shot felt just right and powerful. When I realized how the mechanic work I thought it was hilarious. Great way of dealing with the two button limitation. I love this! Great job! |
| Dec 17 18:45:00 | 37h 48m | Rockets Hate the Moon | Loved it! You have a great handle of game feel. You were able to communicate speed and the chaos very well with the rushing stars and the particles jutting out from the rocket. Moving left and right with the rocket leaning into it just right felt great. And the emoticons were really cute. Great job! 5's all around |
| Dec 19 01:45:00 | 31h 00m | CICP : the Center for Interplanetary Pest Control | I loved the aesthetic and style you've locked down. The planet and core were really pretty to look at. Loved the subtle effects like the core glowing. Watching the worms carve their trail into the planet was really fun. I was really impressed with the music, you captured a retro sci-fi feel which worked perfectly. |
| Dec 19 02:03:00 | 18m 00s | OSHIYA! PUSH! | I loved the color scheme and the stylized characters. The sprites for all the business men and women reminded me of a Terry Gilliam animation. The music and voice overs were great and give it a goofy Japanese game show vibe. It was delightfully silly. Great job! |
| Dec 19 02:35:00 | 32m 00s | There's No Going Back | Excellent level design, the difficulty curve ramped up smoothly and it was never frustrating. Including the level editor was awesome. Extra points for that. I love when devs open up their game for people to fiddle with it. The soundtrack, visuals, subtle vignetting created a really cool almost creepy atmosphere. Great game! Thank you so much for making it! |
| Dec 19 02:51:00 | 16m 00s | Rolla Grolla Arena | We had a ton of fun playing this and experimenting with the physics. We managed to get Two (IIIV) people on xbox 360 controllers and 1 guy on keyboard (me). We got a lot of decent laughs out of this one. My first instinct was to make fun of the song, but it was just so damn catchy and I couldn't stop humming along with it :) Thank you so much for making this! |
| Dec 19 03:20:00 | 29m 00s | Montenegro 1961 | This was a delightful game. From the opening we were already in awe when the camera panned down from the tree tops and revealed the camp. It was beautiful, loved all the art and it was fun just exploring the camp. We had so much fun voice acting all the characters and imagining Fernando's inner dialogue. That was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for making this! |
| Dec 19 03:31:00 | 11m 00s | React! | I love how frantic of a game you've created. We were screaming at the screen trying to find the two buttons. At one point two of us were using the keyboard at once. You did a great job at inducing anxiety for sure. :) Also excellent use of theme. Thank you so much! |
| Dec 19 03:50:00 | 19m 00s | Fluffy Horde | Tons of fun! Great use of theme! very polished, this really felt like a complete game. The voice acting and the writing in the story was hilarious. And it was fun moving around and watching all the bunnies jump on top of each other. Thanks for playing! |
| Dec 19 04:27:00 | 37m 00s | Abyssal Zone | BEAUTIFUL! Loved the aesthetic. The limited color palette, the animations, the tiny bubbles. The puzzles were fiendishly clever. I loved how you used the two buttons to create a new mechanic rather than use it as a pointless limit. Great job! Thank you so much for making it! |
| Dec 19 05:00:00 | 33m 00s | Botany | Loved the planting mechanic. I loved how each plant had it's own qualities, and combining the run and gun with almost tower defense gameplay was really interesting. Very funny writing, and surprisingly large amount of content for a compo entry. Great job! |
| Dec 19 05:18:00 | 18m 00s | Not Enough Space | Really cool concept. I like the idea of every part of the ship having a purpose. And I love that you gave players access to mess with the config. I loved the floaty physics and watching the ship break into pieces. |
| Dec 19 05:25:00 | 7m 00s | Jack and DeVine | This was GREAT. Which isn't surprising, I've seen what you can do before ;) I loved the cute animations. The art and color palette was adorable. The vine growing WAS AMAZING. Please please please continue making something with that vine mechanic. It was so much fun to play with. This was great. I love you guys :) |
| Dec 19 05:39:00 | 14m 00s | Nightlight | Loved so many details in this game. How you can see the boy becoming more and more distressed over time. The haunting strikes on the piano. The glow of the room after a lightning strike. Very creepy and a really fun mechanic. Loved the artwork. You have made an awesome game once again. Great job! |
| Dec 19 05:51:00 | 12m 00s | Arc | Loved the concept! Soooo hard but fun! Loved the colors you used and the music. You did a great job at capturing frantic anxiety driven chaos. Great job! |
| Dec 31 02:27:00 | 284h 36m | Dog Gone Big! | That was a wonderful game! The story was really sweet and great way to attach both the gameplay mechanic and story that framed it all to the theme. The sound effects were also super cute! Was the sound of the dog eating the hotdog you saying 'game jam'? Loved it :) |
