Apr 20 12:30:00 Crystal Ball Chaos I like it, I like the mechanic.
Diddn't know what to do at first but was simple to figure out.
Diffuculty ramp up is spot on for first play but its a little slow for subsequent plays.
Audio is pretty basic and its a shame theres no music a chip tune track would have went really well with the game.

Overall a solid game
Apr 20 12:44:00 14m 00s FINAL BREAKFAST: Your World is Toast Score 1036 and I'm toast.
Really quite enjoyed that.
Graphics are simple but very effective.
Audio is good, music is great.
Gameplay is a tried and trusted mechanic with a good addition of the different abilities.
Apr 20 12:56:00 12m 00s Cellular Warfare Music was good.
Love the idea of using conways game of life, although I did just tend to trial and error it.
Graphics were very simple
Good number of levels and a level editor which is excellent considering the time constraints.
Apr 20 17:59:00 5h 03m It's The Room I quite enjoyed that, its short not many levels but love the idea of moving the level instead of the ball, awesome.
Great balance of frustrating and accomplishment.
Music fairly plain but at least theres music.
Some sound effects and graphics like particles for wall hits would add a bit.
Doesn't really have anything to do with the theme.
Theres an issue between level retries where I can't physically reset my mouse position, causing me to have to fail multiple tries inorder to get my mouse back into a position where I feel good to give the level a proper try again. Maybe a button a click to activate control at the start of a level would fix this.
Love the concept and would play this outside of the compo.
Apr 20 18:16:00 17m 00s Weapon Regulator Idea is good, was fun and a bit chaotic.
Was difficult to ensure you were only hitting the dude you wanted too as control wasn't sensitive enough (8 directional).
I'd also perfer that disbarred weapons were in the same eyeline as the player character i.e. above his head as icons or somthing so I diddn't have to take my eye from my avatar.
Music is a plus.
Apr 20 18:32:00 16m 00s TeleMage To put yourself in danger only to swap with an enemy,
get an enemy to charge a hit on you only to swap with his ally,
to have a mage cast a fieball at you only to swap yourself with him so he hits himself (in the face) with his own firball. Brilliant idea.
Level design was a little simplisic. Diddn't realise doors were doorways at first.
Graphics were pretty simple.
Not a lot of audio (no music).
Dorway positioning was a little strange led to a tackic of just standing opposite side of the wall and letting them get hit by the flame.

Would enjoy a dungeon crawler wiht this mechanic :)
Apr 20 18:41:00 9m 00s Teed Off Concept is good.
Found it a little punishing to try anf fail, maybe a level retry option.
An indication of my last attempt path, and settings would aid.
Fits theme well.
Apr 20 19:00:00 19m 00s Wizard's Bellow Fun, tower defense esc sorta game.
Struggled to remember what each spell did (names kinda incohesive).
Upgrading spells feels awkward in a very time sensitive game, maybe a break between waves to upgrade spells would be better.
No music.
Found it awkward to keep track of spell recharging, perhaps have the gui relative to the cursor or have some text appear at the cursor when a spell has finsihed recharging.
Tried and trusted formula, garranteed to be fun.
Apr 21 17:33:00 22h 33m Crayon Poke Love the pixel work.
Music sets the tones wuite nicly.
Pace is good and puzzles not too difficult.
Somtimes it wasn't clear where I was supposed to go but just randomly wondering seemed to work well :)
All in all a good game.
Apr 21 17:42:00 9m 00s AN UNCONVENTIONAL WEAPON Mood is amazing and it carries a message that I didd't really get until the end.
Apr 21 17:50:00 8m 00s Geisterblut My head hurts and my ears are bleeding lol
Apr 21 17:57:00 7m 00s Transposition Kudos for using SDL, pretty ambitious for 48 hour game.
Gameplay holds a lot of promise but only two levels :(
Getting the portal vibe.
Apr 21 21:17:00 3h 20m Roll Initiative Art is very clean.
Music is good, although it kinda drowns out the sfx, making it a little difficult to tell when I've made a roll and roll the same number twice.
think the difficulty should maybe ramp up a little quicker.
Neat concept.
Apr 23 19:51:00 46h 34m The Rapture Vacuum Cleaning Madness Is that music iron maiden?
Nice idea, it's pretty hard though, I never lasted too long.
Apr 23 20:00:00 9m 00s AntsAreBad Its a shame there is no sound for hittting the ants. A squash sound would have it a lot more satisfying.
I like the turning circle but would have liked it if it reduce at lower speeds.
A lot less ants and maybe having them move would be nice, as I felt I diddn't really have to aim there were so many of them.
All in all a solid first jam game, well done.
May 7 16:55:00 332h 55m A Gun That Shoots Bees I liked the game, can just pick up and play.

+ I really liked the cartoony art style.
- No music :( a little summery tune would have been awesome.
+ Controls are spot on in my opinion, felt very comfortable straight away.
- Feel dead bears need to be more destinct, lost a few times to the little bears that were a struggle to see when the bear carcasses had piled up.
+ Feel of the game is great, from little bits of polish like the screen shake and the growing ammo bee hive thingy.
- Wasn't sure what the honey did at first.
+ Full game loop.
- Think a suttle way to indicate the bears health would help. Not really thinking a health bar but somthing "suttle" lol.

Most of the negatives are small and most likely down to just running out of time. One of the stronger compo games I've played.

p.s. feel like it was missing somthing sweet and explosive . . . perhaps honey grenades ;)
