Apr 20 02:57:00 The Wand of FloatingSoaps As a note, your primary link is broken. It's pointing your you own computer you local network. The mirror link does however work.

The game is cute and fun, but it gets repetitive since it takes a while to get any upgrades. I would make two suggestions. Make it possible to get upgrades that would increase money making direct (such as increase star spawning). Secondly, I would move the bubble down farther on the screen; it was nearly impossible to dodge when fast falling enemy appears.

Also, the music is very good. Very few entries have music so it was great to get good music right off the bat.
Apr 20 03:14:00 17m 00s TRANSMATTER WHIRLMPOLE VACUUMBUSTER I quote enjoyed this game, though I will admit, I'm terribly good at the game. It vaguely reminds me of Shatter, which I also like. I got a high score of 92.

My biggest difficulty was the enemies off-screen. I'm not sure if this a real issue, as it is pretty close to the view of geometry wars, and a lot of other similar games, but I think I would have had an easier time I could see all the enemies as once. Also, I would like to see a few more enemy types (as I like the game), but well, you did it in 48 hours, so it's understandable.

Other than that, the controls are great, the music is good, and I had a lot of fun.
Apr 20 03:30:00 16m 00s Saber Disk That was an exceptionally well polished game for 48 hours. The sound and the graphics are amazing. The gameplay was fun as well, though it became extremely difficult to dodge or attack the enemies. I think this was because of two things:
- The Rodin thinker statues take up a huge amount or real estate on the screen, and either they hit me even though I was at the back of the level and they were up front (which would imply you're using straight up 2D collision detection, or something else is hitting me and I just can't see it.
- I kept getting a very slow weapon that has a short range and can only be first one shot at a time. With the number of enemies entering the screen, this weapon is pretty useless.

Despite these two things I had a blast.

P.S. my high score was 5880.
Apr 20 03:44:00 14m 00s the name of the game is grab After over a dozen tries, I could still only get 6 points; I usually got hit the moment I miss a pull or on a successful pull it would move me just far enough to be in an enemy's line of sight. Perhaps a small grace period with movement would fix this case. Despite these issue, I did however enjoy the game.
Apr 20 11:46:00 8h 02m Monster Hugger Very cute game, very hard though. I got it on my fifth or sixth try (I just got into a pattern of landing 2 or so hearts then run up until after the attack was performed. Took a long time.

Additionally, found an entertaining bug. If you were holding shift when you lost and kept holding shift, hugs will register on the monster when it walks over you. You can eventually get "Monster Calmed" even though you lost.
Apr 20 12:06:00 20m 00s Banana Killer For Levels on the lowest number of people
- 6 to 23 with 5 seconds left
- 7 to 23 with 4 seconds left
- 5 to 23 with 6 seconds left

For levels with the highest number of people
- 7 to 77 with 0 seconds left
- 9 to 77 with 1 second left
- 11 to 77 with 1 second left (SO MANY TRIES)

Fun puzzles-like game. I haven't seen anything like it so quite original. I found setting up bananas at choke points were the most effective and get them out super early was key.
Apr 20 12:30:00 24m 00s Eurovision: world domination through the power of song This is absolutely hilarious game, and if you don't win on audio, I'd be surprised.

The game play was a bit problematic. I played for several years, but didn't really see a huge rise in standings. I'm guessing that if you rate someone higher than they rated you last year they'll trend up, and if you rated lower they'll trend down, but without some statistics up when I got to voting it was very difficult to determine who I should vote high. It was also difficult given that I didn't know who else was competing, so I couldn't think ahead and hold the better points for the right players.

Despite this I did have a lot of fun playing, and laughing at the incredible amount of strange music you put together.
Apr 20 12:47:00 17m 00s Cat Sorry you weren't able to finish your game. It was a very solid platformer with good controls and an interesting start to a story. Unfortunately I was able to jump off the world midway through level two (I glided off the edge to the right after getting the glide ability), and at some point the audio just cut off. There were a lot of leaps of faith in this game or open areas to jump over. some background cues would help, but as you said, you ran out of time.
Apr 20 13:01:00 14m 00s Dead Branch Quest That was super hard. It took me about 20 tries to defeat the two enemies and reveal the stairs. I think part of the difficulty was that it was hard to tell if I was doing damage, or being effective (they take a lot of hits). I know there is audio, but the sounds were very similar, so I had difficulty telling if it worked. Perhaps changing graphics or color to show progression on defeating an enemy would work?
Apr 20 15:17:00 2h 16m YellAt ! Mac version works just fine. Really cool concept! My first couple of tries I did badly because it seems like the game doesn't register your attack until you stop making sound, so big yells actually work against you. I made it to level 21 with 789 points by quickly say "not" super fast for a couple of minutes. It pretty much covered the screen with my attack, except of when I needed to breath which I did sparingly. I'm... i'm going to pass out now.
Apr 20 15:42:00 25m 00s DRILL KNIGHT Pretty hard game. My best after a dozen or so plays was 10 enemies defeated. The stun is good but doesn't last long enough if there is more than one enemy on the screen for me to get much further. Despite this I had a really good time playing it. A two player mode would be awesome.
Apr 20 15:53:00 11m 00s Protector Of The Shrine Made it to 4950 points. I agree with volatile dove, having to pick up your hand to press sing makes it difficult. Additionally, using the mouse to attack when there isn't smooth scrolling felt difficult as where I was going to aim is moving (might just be me though as I'm not a big PC gaming).
