| Apr 29 01:20:00 | Ninja Fish | I liked the concepts and the art was fine. You did a good job. :) I enjoyed the game play, but the dash feature was kind of an issue. | |
| Apr 29 01:30:00 | 10m 00s | Burrow Down | The game was enjoyable and had a good difficulty to it. It feels over all good, however audio is a bit annoying sometimes. - Flurkin |
| Apr 29 03:33:00 | 2h 03m | The Legend of the Thunder Fish | This game is perhaps the most realistic adaptation of the 1995 film 'Waterworld' currently available on the PC. <br/> <br/>The stark philosophical premise of humanity living in a world submerged by ecological ruin permeates this game. Its ideas, its story, surround the contrast of human attempts to continue life in this desolate ocean. They float by on scraps, making a living from a single man in his submersible. It is poignant, and horrific. |
| Apr 29 03:36:00 | 3m 00s | Murder Clown | I came hoping to enjoy a family-friendly clown-murdering experience for the PC, and left sorely disappointed. The game...was not available on the website. |
| Apr 29 03:43:00 | 7m 00s | Prison Digger | I opened this game hoping for a realistic penal experience. Instead, I found myself waiting literal years in the game without release. Being an ethical and conscious video game player, I could not will myself to attempt escape. "Surely," I told myself, "I will serve my time and society will welcome me back with open arms." But nothing came. And so, as I type, I am still waiting for release... <br/> <br/>Is this a scathing commentary of the state of the US penal system? Desperate for food and water, I attempted to catch the attention of a nearby guard, but all was in vain. <br/> <br/>I am terrified I will be trapped in this prison forever. <br/> <br/>Send help. |
| Apr 29 04:12:00 | 29m 00s | The Hit (Print and Play) | Staring at a blank folder directory was not one of this year's better game experiences, but still better than the Elder Scrolls: Online. 7.5 / 10 |
| Apr 29 04:19:00 | 7m 00s | 50 Shades of Ray | Assisting a manta with pregnancy should be a national duty, on par with assisting the elderly to cross the street, and enlisting schools to make paper hats for the homeless. I consider this game to be an educational service to the community on par with 'Ronald Reagan - Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine.' Excellent work. |
| Apr 29 04:25:00 | 6m 00s | Underwater Words | Neatly polished game, but I think I played this before on 'Mavis Beacon Teaches Underwater Touch Typing'. |
| Apr 29 04:26:00 | 1m 00s | Corpse Explorer | Not to seem like a bit of a party pooper, but there are (unfortunately) no corpses to explore on the link provided. In fact, there really isn't anything at all, to be honest. |
| Apr 29 04:31:00 | 5m 00s | Alien Buddy: Beneath the Surface of a New Mexico Landfill | A fair rehash of the Atari 2600 game E.T in which you dig the graves of your foes whilst being pursued by child predators in a hellish, abstract dreamscape. Educational! |
| Apr 29 04:34:00 | 3m 00s | Hidden Sub | The dropbox link for this game leads to a 404. Looks like this hidden sub is...well...actually hidden? |
| Apr 29 05:12:00 | 38m 00s | Vaults Inc | With ulterior motives in mind, I nefariously constructed 'Vault 124' with a school and retirement village. Yes. That would be my experiment. The children and the elderly. Both weak, impressionable, in need of care. Who would dominate? With this in mind, I recorded my deeds, my experiments. They would never know. |
| Apr 29 06:20:00 | 1h 08m | Advanced Cave Crawler | Pretty fun game. Interesting way to use the Love engine! <br/>~funkeh |
| Apr 29 06:25:00 | 5m 00s | The Ice Pond | I was an embryo when some of the greatest text adventures were made, but - suffice to say - my little half-formed amoebic brain at the time would have enjoyed them just as much. Good old DOS! <br/> <br/>This text adventure is alright, but could have been more fully-formed. I didn't finish it - game progression was poorly signaled and commands could have been more intuitive. Also a lot of inconsistent grammar all around the place, like sentences without full stops leaving me hanging |
| Apr 29 06:31:00 | 6m 00s | Love Scarabs | At 280 FPS, I think this game performs well. It's standard platforming fare with fairly good non-pixel graphics (rapidly becoming a rarity). Two things, though: sound could have really made the game seem more polished, and the 'jump' key shouldn't have been mapped with the 'shoot' key. <br/> <br/>Otherwise, real neat. |
| Apr 29 06:36:00 | 5m 00s | [Work in Progress] | Good game. Any game that looks like a Windows 95 maze screensaver is objectively graphically appealing. It taps into that little synapse still buzzing with endless left and right turns. Could have benefited from more consistent range of textures, though, but good work. |
| Apr 29 06:41:00 | 5m 00s | Ant World | Simple and fun. Pace could have been a little quicker, such as the long black spells in between levels. Entombing the ants in dirt causes them to turn crazy and morph into butterflies. Dirt butterflies. Dead dirt butterflies. Whoa. |
| Apr 29 06:54:00 | 13m 00s | Cyber Viking Bar Brawl | Hotline Miami for 2001! Think fast, or think dead! Smoke and whiskey, and lots of blood! Maximum damage! CyberDeath 3000! Nokia N-Gage! Shoot to kill! |
| Apr 29 07:06:00 | 12m 00s | My Little Secret | Alright game, though the pacing could have been a little quicker with faster movement and dialog, but it's just... <br/> <br/>...well... <br/> <br/>...I was hoping the secrets were going to be...um <br/> <br/>dirty secrets |
| Apr 29 10:54:00 | 3h 48m | Beneth the surface | ...On the positive side, it's still a better gaming experience than Duke Nukem: Forever! |
| Apr 29 16:33:00 | 5h 39m | Sail | This is amazing! Definitely reminds me of Wind Waker. Very good work. The squid was a nice game mechanic. <br/>~funkeh |
| Apr 29 17:13:00 | 40m 00s | Olm | Nice work! |
| Apr 29 17:27:00 | 14m 00s | The Mask of Us | I liked this game! I think that the mask mechanic could've been explored a bit more, but I really dug the aesthetics. Nice job! <br/>~funkeh. <br/> <br/>PS. to make this game work on case-sensitive file systems, change the assets/UI folder to assets/ui. |
| Apr 30 06:33:00 | 13h 06m | Love In Veins ( Not Finished ) | Nice attempt, I guess - I understand it's nowhere near finished. <br/> <br/>Perhaps to develop the game you could work on a script that inverts the character sprite when it turns left. Also the jumping height is fairly reasonable, but momentum is pretty extreme...there's no turning in the other direction mid-jump if you overshoot. |
| Apr 30 06:45:00 | 12m 00s | Just Your Typical Dating Game | Hi. Good entry for Ludum. Just some pointers based on my own experience with the game: <br/> <br/>-Writing is the centrepiece of a visual novel, and I think it was a bit lacking. Your tone is very irreverent, but I think the self-deprecation went too far. Especially when things got a little more exciting. Maybe random humor isn't the best technique for this sort of game all of the time. Especially with dating sims, where you're attempting to understand and connect with certain characters. <br/> <br/>-The menu at the bottom is a great idea, but you should make sure that it works with the background. The first screen, for instance, made the menu practically invisible. <br/> <br/>-Fonts are a little all over the place. I'd try choosing some fonts with a consistent design rather than the sketchbook aesthetic that the title screen goes for. <br/> <br/>-Because there was no music the shot effect at the coffee shop gave me a heart attack. Some free distribution ambient track would be nice. |
| Apr 30 06:51:00 | 6m 00s | Elemental Serpent | It's as if Death Worm and Snake had a illegitimate love-child. With height, and the steam, lava, and water game mechanic, it does go beyond the Snake comparisons, but got old fairly quickly. |
| Apr 30 06:56:00 | 5m 00s | Wood Cutter Extreme! | The player movement could have been a little faster up and down, and some it certainly could have had a more intuitive interface explaining what exactly the onscreen numbers are for. For debug? A game mechanic? It is a mystery. |
| Apr 30 07:00:00 | 4m 00s | Rock Man | Rock man is a cup of coffee on a cold winter morning. <br/> <br/>Rock man is the warmth of your lover on a lonesome night. <br/> <br/>Rock Man is love. <br/> <br/>Rock man is life. |
| Apr 30 07:02:00 | 2m 00s | LiveNotOnEvil | The game mechanic's core concept has been done to death before, but it still handles fairly well. Some more graphics could have made the game a little more engaging to play. |
| May 1 11:00:00 | 27h 58m | Down | A beautiful and haunting game. I love it. <br/>~funkeh |
| May 6 22:58:00 | 131h 58m | Supermarket Challenge | I dream of a coffee future. I want there to be cocoa beans in my bedsheets, my toothpaste, my business suit. I wish for nothing more than pure cocoa caffeine to flow through my arteries. This is my dream. You have realised my dream, in video game form. Thankyou. |
| May 15 02:42:00 | 195h 44m | Submarine Playground | I got to experience what it was like to a dolphin for once in my life. And a dolphin that shoots rockets, no less. 10/10. <br/>~funkeh |
| May 15 02:48:00 | 6m 00s | RAW | In windowed mode couldn't figure out how to close the game <br/>- Micaldom |
| May 15 02:55:00 | 7m 00s | Fishing On The Ice | This was a really fun game. <br/>~funkeh |
| May 19 09:13:00 | 102h 18m | Kamikaze Snail: They see me sliding, they hatin'! | Pretty fun game! A bit confusing at first, but easy to figure out. <br/>~funkeh |
| May 19 09:21:00 | 8m 00s | Cellular (v2) | I love this. The lighting system looks really good. <br/>~funkeh |
| May 19 09:43:00 | 22m 00s | Please Come Back | Tiring, but rewarding. <br/>~funkeh |
