| Dec 16 06:11:00 | Unibrow | Nice game, the only issue I had was sometimes it's a bit hard to see which plane the items were on, perhaps separating them more would make this easier. I also noticed I can get negative coins and negative minutes remaining. | |
| Dec 16 06:21:00 | 10m 00s | Life Boat | It started off good, but once I finished the conversation trees I got bored pretty quick. |
| Dec 16 06:56:00 | 35m 00s | Pixel Factory | It works for me on Windows 8. But it was incredibly difficult to understand at first, even after reading your description. After about 5 minutes of trying to make sense of it I was able to make a working machine, but I quickly found myself running out of money due to the poor chip draws. A game like this really needs a tutorial! |
| Dec 16 07:17:00 | 21m 00s | Dirt Cheap Dungeon | Cool game. I noticed that when changing rooms the rocks and enemies disappear, but the hidden items remain, so it's possible to spot where they are by changing rooms. |
| Dec 16 07:36:00 | 19m 00s | Nent | The core game is really good, but the controls are really bad for people that don't have three hands. Also, the max speed upgrade doesn't even allow you to outrun enemies which makes it rather ineffective. |
| Dec 16 07:45:00 | 9m 00s | Seed of One | Cool game. Though mouse sensitivity for panning is too low, and transferring strength to the front of your structure is a bit tedious. |
| Dec 16 08:02:00 | 17m 00s | Cyclopses Versus the Gangs of Neptune | The game works well, it just needs a ton more polish. The way you have to move to the single pixel at the edges to go back to the map screen is silly. The final boss is pretty ridiculous, he does almost no damage yet takes hundreds of hits to kill which is tedious, especially without a health bar. I like the way you can send mobs to a different zone. Shame about the ripped sprites! |
| Dec 16 08:08:00 | 6m 00s | Light and Mirrors | Haha, the particle count is ridiculous! Cool game, though instead of skill it felt more like trial an error to get the angle just right. |
| Dec 16 08:21:00 | 13m 00s | One Chance | Cool game, it's very serene! With a bit more polish and a less abrupt ending it could be even better. Nice looking planet btw ;) |
| Dec 16 08:47:00 | 26m 00s | One Job One Shot | Awesome idea, though I'm so bad at it that I can't beat level 4. |
| Dec 16 08:54:00 | 7m 00s | Planet LD-28 | Frustratingly interesting :) The options screen was a nice touch, but there needs to be some sort of goal. |
| Dec 16 09:00:00 | 6m 00s | The Last Rock | If LD had a 'Satisfying' rating, you'd get 5 stars from me. I didn't think you could top the sound of the zombies dying as your thow the rock-thing through a group of them... until the bulldozer. |
| Dec 16 12:16:00 | 3h 16m | One Shot. One Kill. | Cool concept, it's strangely addictive. |
| Dec 16 12:22:00 | 6m 00s | One Earth, One Defender | I really like the aesthetics, but I don't see how you can reach a million without the ability to buy better weapons or something. |
| Dec 16 12:41:00 | 19m 00s | Doubloon Dash | There should be a warning when you hit the shore, because I was very confused the first few times I played. There also needs to be some kind of objective. Also, I wasn't able to activate the Easter egg, or maybe I missed it? |
| Dec 16 14:53:00 | 2h 12m | Azimuth Zero | I liked the gameplay, but the UI was too confusing. Near the end I got about 5 different messages on top of each other and I couldn't read what any of them said. Also, I couldn't figure out how to break resource connections. |
| Dec 16 15:46:00 | 53m 00s | singleton | I love this style of game, it has so much potential to be expanded. My only major gripe is the unintuitive menu system. |
| Dec 16 15:59:00 | 13m 00s | Startrader | The control scheme annoyed me the most. You should either add keyboard controls to move around, or allow click and drag. The concept was very nice though. Also, doesn't the 'Stave off Death' button just kill you? |
| Dec 17 06:02:00 | 14h 03m | Serious Surgery | I found the controls pretty frustrating at times, and the levels would use indicator to show you where to go, but it's an interesting take on the platformer genre. |
| Dec 17 06:17:00 | 15m 00s | Tether | It looks great, but after running it three times and making sure I read your instructions correctly, I still have no idea what to do. Pressing the arrow keys does nothing for me, pressing x sometimes thrusts, and cutting the tether seems to be the only thing that works as expected. Maybe this game is amazing, but with completely unintuitive controls with close to zero feedback from the stated inputs, it's unplayable. |
| Dec 17 06:53:00 | 36m 00s | Jameson The Pilot | Very nice. Some of these trade routes were way too profitable though, and every time I right clicked in Chrome the context menu would pop up. |
| Dec 17 09:33:00 | 2h 40m | A Trip To The Moon | Cool stuff, but when I got to the moon my screen just turned grey. |
| Dec 17 09:39:00 | 6m 00s | In Space | Does this require a controller? Nothing I pressed could make the ship move up or down. |
| Dec 17 09:47:00 | 8m 00s | YOGOS - YouOnlyHaveOneShield | Pretty cool upgrades, but the game itself is too repetitive. |
| Dec 17 20:47:00 | 11h 00m | Buy the World | This game is actually really addicting. I got to *ahem* turn 1500+ and gave up. I managed to get 50% of the money to buy Earth, but the strategy required to buy it was too ridiculous. Basically I ended up at the stage where the best thing I could buy was Tundra, but that was always around 1% the value of Earth, so to win I had to buy at least 100 of them, but doing that is difficult because they only come up 15% or so of the time, so I had to shuffle the shop hundreds of times, and make sure my inventory didn't get filled up with too much crap (else the price of Earth might go up more than the amount you sold the other Tundras for). I gave up shortly after realizing this. |
| Dec 18 05:08:00 | 8h 21m | YOGO Cookie | I normally don't like stealth games, but it was more fun than I expected. I don't understand the title though, because I have to get more than one cookie? |
| Dec 19 18:46:00 | 37h 38m | Element Fighter | Cool concept, though I didn't like that shooting caused all your ammo to get discharged. |
| Dec 21 14:44:00 | 43h 58m | The Hotdog Parable | Very very good! The main complaint I have is that when opening the right menu it sometimes/often clicked something while expanding, which was particularly annoying when I unintentionally buy flyers or something. |
| Dec 23 09:52:00 | 43h 08m | Dungeon Raider | The engine and graphics are very nice, but I found the combat to be annoying due to the awkward attacking. While impressive for 72hrs, the gameplay itself was way too easy and repetitive. If you cut two levels from the game and added some stronger enemies into the mix then this would have been a lot better. I also questioned why there was so much gold on every floor when there's practically no use for it. |
| Dec 23 10:20:00 | 28m 00s | Coin | I thought it was going to be a puzzle game so I chose to scratch the car, thinking that was the only option that allowed me the keep the penny. I was wrong :( |
