LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Adventures of Pug by Clayblob 2014-12-29T17:53:00

Congrats for participating on this Ludum Dare! :)

Unfortunately, Puggles is not able to open the door because he doesn't have a thumb. This made me sad by the way... :(

But way to go on a theme, Pugs are always awesome! :D

Loved the concept for it, specially given the theme of this jam.

However, after my first try I could not reset the game and it just kept on beeping, showing the angry "customer". After my second and third tries I noticed that it was not possible to reset the game in order to keep on playing.

Other than this, congrats! I found it very enjoyable :D

Dodge and Weave by smagee 2014-12-26T21:52:00

Congrats on your first game!

Kudos for keeping with the theme and good job on the "enemies", with different speeds and tracking.

My only critique is for the screen size, which is not the same as the one showed in the game.

I loved the concept, the art of the environment and the music which was very immersive. I understood the concept, but thought the controls were too fast and it was not clear what was clickable and what wasn't.

Congrats! :D

Egg-Dodge by obberton13 2014-12-29T17:29:00

Congrats on the game!

Constructive feedback: IMHO, it would be better if the game could inform what the current event (as in half speed, faster or more eggs) is. This would give a few seconds for the player to prepare itself.

Also, I thought the score counter did not work properly. A high score feature would also be cool.

Other than this, nice job! :D

Platform Peril by Neuneker 2014-12-29T17:45:00

Awesome concept and very clever way to incorporate the theme of the jam.

The only feedback I have concern the polishment of the game.

1) The fonts at the beggining are a little hard to read.

2) The placements of the score, lives and coins are kinda hidden (lower bottom left of the screen).

3) It would be awesome to have music and sound effects, specially considering the pace of the game.

That's about it. Congrats on an awesome job, mate.
