Good effort! Unfortunately the game didn't continue after collecting all the items and the character jitters like crazy. I like the classic art style. The intro text could have been more to the point for my taste ;)
Haha, great game XD I didn't get the greed mechanic, though... I suppose when I trade for something too valuable I lose a life? Progressing in the game felt really fun :)
Hey joh, thanks for the indepth take! There's indeed so much room for expansion, we constantly had to make hard calls what features to cut and which ones to focus on. I really wish I could continue expanding this indefinitely, since it's super fun to work on and can go so many ways.
