Bummer it's unfinished, what you have looks super polished! The important thing is you still submitted it unfinished, I tried to do ludem dare years ago and just gave up! I like the little dude's idle animation too

I can see this becoming a really good little isometric level editor too on it's own, but i hope you finish it :D

So this is definitely addictive, which goes to show putting gems in a game is always a good idea! I like how the head bonking doesn't hurt you in any way, you just feel bad for monty, thus the desire for the helmet. I really like monty's sprite, he's super nice and I want to buy him snacks

Some constructive criticism:

You can break progression with upgrades pretty quickly by holding down hyper drill forever. That's not necessary a bad thing, because honestly i had a lot of fun trying to just get as ridiculously OP as fast as possible, so that can play in your favor! I would recommend a cooldown for the hyper drill, OR maybe have a need to move side to side more. Like unbreakable or just really hard/non-valuable barriers? This way you have to move more and have more horizontal control. It's also tricky to avoid the bats unless you're just dashing down as fast as you can. But that helps balance it out 🤔

Overall it's pretty cool and it could shape up into a cute casual game if you add some more content :D

Okay this is pretty dang slick. I love the minimal feel, it suits compo perfectly because you can focus on just the mechanics. And the mechanics are spot on! The collisions are perfect with the isometric cubes (are they represented 3dimensionally to calculate, or just a strict height map?). The striking mechanic feels natural with a good bounce, and I like how you can start and stop anywhere, not just next to the ball. This is important on a mobile game for fingers obviously. I confirmed it does work fine on mobile too! Just some screen cutoff from forced portrait mode. I think the only advice I'd give is the hole should be distinguished from the surrounding void in some way, otherwise you'd think it all counts.

I didn't get far because I'm awful at golf games, but it's one of the better golf games i've played :P

@bw-devel thanks bud! I'm flattered you found me from twitter 😮. I'm glad you didn't notice any bugs, cuz there's plenty 😂. I'm not super good with music but I'm loving how easy it is to make satisfying little beeps, so maybe I can something together.
