Fun game. Controls well with gamepad. I really liked that there is some momentum where you can slingshot the character a bit higher by moving one stick up and then the other. The ragdoll model is fun to use. Can do some funny dance moves with the two arms.

Galactic Card Quest by Buckmonster 2021-10-06T22:55:03Z

I thought for sure that this would have gotten a lot more ratings by now. I really enjoyed it, and got to level 14 and dying there three times. The game really shows off the power of Core. Fantastic work in terms of technical aspects and fun, but I feel that it is a bit lacking in terms of unstable theme. The random chance for ability to be level 2 and randomized consumables are nice, but I feel that it is missing that oomph and unstable feel.

Great use of the theme, and very nice variety in the gameplay.

Alchemist Crisis by Jeremy-Ossola 2021-10-06T03:53:49Z

I tried out the single player a bit, and it worked well on the controller. The graphics are great. The elemental combos is neat, with water + wind making the ground slippery and fire + earth making fire damage tick faster.

Kind of wish that I had other people to test out the multiplayer with. I will just trust that the multiplayer is fast paced and fun with large parts of the map eventually covered by fire.

MagneMagia by OffworldDemon 2021-10-06T23:36:51Z

Fun game. It's super satisfying once I figured out how to do the magnetic pull slight shot. Changing the magnetic zone with right mouse button is a really cool a mechanic, and adds a lot of fun possibilities. This concept has a lot of potential, such as some boxes that too heavy for the player to move, and even more possibilities once repulse is added in.

The art is great, and I really liked the small details such as the characters blinking. The real life plant pictures really adds to the surreal nature of the game. Amazing job putting all of this together in 72 hours!

After starting the game, I keep on respawning.

Thanks. The game is made on Core Games Platform which is a bit different from a normal game engine. The same models, sound, and textures are available for every project (graphics and music categories are disabled for Core games) but does not allow for imports. Everything is a kitbash of what is already in Core. I just mainly focused on the scripting and did a bit of kitbashing / changing the materials and colors of some game assets.

Fun and interesting take on the unstable theme. I finished in around 7 minutes (took me a while to get the timing for hover just right). Maybe the game could use a few more advantageous situations for the ice cube. I always went with water when possible for the smaller hitbox.

Amazing use of the unstable theme. All the different parts of the game come together nicely for a hilarious and fun experience. This is the type of really creative and interesting games that I look forward to playing from the game jams.

Emotion Vessels by Terri_GamingLunya 2021-10-05T01:16:40Z

Nice game! I really liked the papercraft and hand painted aesthetics. Pushing blue blocks off makes the gameplay feels really engaging.

The gameplay goes nicely with the theme, and everything fits together well. I liked the metaphor of how life is not fair when the game spawns multiple blue blocks on one side and there it is really difficult to get out of that situation. I tried to weather out the storm on the other side hoping that one of them would fall off, and I tried to run there to push it off and hope that the balance hasn't already shifted too much to that side.

Loved the sense of despair when it tilts too much too one side, I can keep on jumping and survive for a bit trying to hold on but eventually it continues spinning after going vertical.

Maybe instead of life is not fair metaphor, it's more of how quickly negative emotions can build up and drag you down.
