@GAFBlizzard. No, that was a mistake. Thanks for pointing that out.

Mad Maddie by Boodog 2015-04-20T03:36:00

It's a bit frustrating that dying always sends you back to the start. Maybe the game could have a health system so that it's not quite so all-or-nothing?

The music has an old-school arcade vibe to it, which is great! Also loved the sprite work -- Maddie's wagging tail really sells her for me.

The War Dog by Xinelu 2015-04-20T03:28:00

Great fit thematically. There's a lot of room to move around in the game as it stands -- it would be really cool to add more stuff to find (even if it was just text, I'd love to feel like the game was rewarding me for exploring.

It was actually the *second to last* stage that grabbed me the most. Super clever spin on the mechanic.

At present the game feels really difficult and obtuse. I think that the core mechanic is SUPER cool, though! I want to play more of it in a context where it's easier to find my footing and learn how to play, and then move on to the super hard stuff.

Pen Pals by Pietdagamer 2015-04-20T06:07:00

Very cool! The fighting mechanics seem like they could be a bit more fluid, though. If you were going to keep developing this, I'd love to see different movesets. Might I attack differently with a keyboard than with a pencil, for instance?
