I love the chiptune music too, its so good.

Cheers bedstuck! I wanted to add a "Stampede" feature, whereby at the cost of a life a horde of cows would rampage across the screen and obliterate everything, but I didn't have a lot of time on my hands so left it as is.
Glad you like the music too, I was considering recording some guitar for it but chiptune was easier and more fitting for an arcade-style game :)
This game was really fun. Kind of reminds me of the minigame in stardew valley. I ended up getting very good scores, maybe there is an issue with the game's speed when playing on my crummy laptop?

Wow, cheers everyone! Wasn't expecting such a warm reception for a first ever game jam (and first "published" game :D)! Will probably keep working on this when I'm less busy; polish it up, add one or two new features and maybe a mobile port too.

I ran into two bugs though:
-Music and sound effects stopped playing (or got super quiet maybe?) after dying for the first time. The sound came back after restarting the game completely.
-I somehow became permanently invinsible, letting me stand in the corner and getting points from doing nothing. I'm not sure what caused it, but it seemed like it didn't dissapear after quiting to the menu and starting the game again. Completely restarting the game fixed this too though.
I actually got >1000000 with that bug, but lucky for you there was no way for me to die and submit that score haha :D
After a while I felt like there was no way of avoiding the butchers, maybe there could be another way of increasing the difficulty?
Other than that, over all good, well done!
You can't be mad at this game, especially with that tune. Some diagonal movement for the bull could be an improvement. Good job!
