Great job on this project! The art style and audio work really well together, creates a great atmosphere. Super impressive what you managed to pull off within the jam deadline! Rated! We’d also love to hear your thoughts on our entry if you have some time!

Wow the timing is amazing with this weekend of riots!

Really cool presentation, high polish Awesome stuff.

I’m a total Rambo - I wrecked the whole street! The game fits the Ludum theme perfectly; in my view, it’s the best one so far in terms of thematic alignment. Well done!

A very fun and entertaining game, which is also perfectly in tune with the current situation in France. Graphics are also amazing, and the background music is peak when you understand french. As a french, i can only approve this one, bien joué frérot j'ai kiffé.

Epic soundtrack, great retro visuals, and a nice take on today's news.

I think the keyboard controls could be arranged on the right... playing with only the keyboard feels clunky.

Overall, a great experience.

As a French person, I’m not sure if I saw myself reflected in this game, haha! Regardless, it shows a great deal of imagination especially given current events even if the connection to the theme is a bit loose. The Street Fighter style gameplay and the music are really entairtaining !

Really good parody of the recents French news. Classic Beat them all, with a strange but enjoying music. Overall a fun game where you punch everyone.

Honestly, pretty good game overall but why you chose this event ? I don't see where the fun is

elmani335 2026-10-20 13:37 ♥ 1

Really fun game! Especially considering how relevant the theme is to what's currently happening in France! :D

The art style fits the game perfectly, the sound design is great, and the controls are simple and easy to pick up. The gameplay feels really fun and satisfying, and the whole concept is both hilarious and surprisingly fitting!

Nothing to complain about here, just a really enjoyable little game with a great sense of humor. Great job! :D

Thank you everyone for the amazing reception! I was quite anxious on how people would receive it.

@dingohlm I understand, I just wanted to make a brawler game with a grounded context but of course the actions and gameplay are here to fit the "arcade feeling".

@stanewolfer Thank you, the event is pretty major in France, it's been years people asks for better living condition and a wave of protest started since weeks everywhere in the country so I felt quit natural to recreate this context. But otherwise this is why I inspired from Brawlers to add a fun gameplay since this context is pretty tensed here.

Thank you all!

The combination of classic arcade brawling mechanics and a highly charged, real-world setting is really clever. The entire presentation creates a dynamic sense of place, making the violence feel both chaotic and strangely choreographed. Great atmosphere!

I liked the graphics, and the music was catchy, too. I have nothing against the choice of theme, but the narrative style itself seemed a bit... too straightforward. I wish that when discussing what’s good and what’s bad, the presentation weren’t so blunt.

UPD. I'm talking specifically about the text

vhalenn 2026-10-20 22:13 ♥ 0

@eugenik Thank you a lot for your kind comment! I am glad you liked it!

@eonesets I totally understand what you mean, I just wanted to recreate the actual context and most of the text are real quotes from newspapers. But of course this is just a Brawler game targeting fun and in three days work it was hard to add more nuances.

The curved arcade screen and the silhouettes watching in front are a nice touch. I like how the whole thing looks like a cabinet you could walk up to, rather than just a retro filter over a street fight.

Rated! Would appreciate you checking out our entry too if you have time: [Robot Workshop](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/trashfight).

Clever and timely! Huge respect for expressing your views through creativity rather than destroying other people's property.

Now, where do I insert a coin to get access to the 18th-century content? :D

vhalenn 2026-10-21 14:53 ♥ 1

@skigfx Thank you so much for finishing the game! You know the story, of course the first day my plan was to do multiple years to show how the same fight is going one repeatedly over time but it would have taken so much time to make new visuals, I never could do it alone!

@Vhalenn Sometimes a good cliffhanger is better than even a sequel :D
