The aesthetics are good and the music is pleasant. The mechanic works well and is easy to understand. However I struggle to see a challenge, other than perhaps trying to conquer the map as quickly as possible. I think the game would benefit by having some sort of objective as if you do not tax violently, you can't lose. Great job on your submission though
To WInter2277:Thank you for playing and leaving a review! In fact, regarding the 'survival pressure' in this management game, my design is as follows: the leverage level of the regions you unlock will gradually increase over time, and this will consequently lead to a rise in the resistance level. This means that if you cannot expand quickly enough and maintain control over the unlocked regions, you won’t have enough funds to quell the resistance and prevent rebellions. To simplify the learning curve, I did not explicitly explain this mechanism to the players. Perhaps because my numerical settings were too conservative or your gaming skills were too exceptional, this dynamic wasn’t felt during your playthrough, resulting in a somewhat dull experience. In any case, thank you for your time and feedback!
A strategy-focused game, once you find the right strategy, you can clear the stages quickly. The interface and interactions are simple and intuitive. It would be better if the game showed how much rent you collect each time. Also, once you control the cities, the vast rural areas seem to have limited usefulness, and the available paths feel somewhat monotonous. Overall, though, it’s still quite playable:)
To pEngi:You are right,。time is limited, I do feel sorry about the strategic aspect, but I still appreciate your playing.
