SO I've played a few rounds at this, getting to 2, 1 and 2 cases won respectively. I'm not sure I quite understand the mechanics. Each choice has two icons, and I guess the icons are supposed to indicate the effects of each choice.

What I've noticed:

The judge seems to have different affinities? Like sometimes he'll emit a +++ or a - for the green head with halo, the red devil or the yellow face. I think this is selected per case?

The second icon has different effects, e.g. the red sword lowers the opponent score, and the green face without multiples ... something... by 1.5. Maybe it's the score from the other symbol?

But then win or loss feels randomly determined by whether the faces the judge prefers comes up, and it's not clear when you should use the sword to attack vs build your own points.

The art and setting are really nice, but I just couldn't wrap my head around the gameplay.

I really enjoyed playing the game! The artwork was fun and I loved the music/sounds a lot! The humor was amazing as well. I played 4-5 rounds and I think the most won I got was 2. At first, it felt really complicated. There was so much visual feedback happening at once that I didn't know what to look at. I think it might have helped if there was more time to read everything that was going on before it all disappeared. I didn't realize the other side took damage based off a certain attack until the second round, just because the numbers left before I could read it. I realized that the lines were mostly just fluff and then things got easier because I was mostly focused on the icons in the box. I think given the time limit that it makes sense that all of them was random, but it did add to the confusion. All in all I had a lot of fun and think it was a really well made game! The mechanics seemed really cool, just a bit hard to understand.
